ABOUT THE TOMORROW’S LEADERS UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Tomorrow’s Leaders (TL) Undergraduate Scholarship Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Near East Affairs (NEA) through the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI). The program supports academically qualified, under-served high school graduates from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) by providing a four-year scholarship at an American accredited institution in the region.
In addition to building academic excellence, the Tomorrow’s Leaders Undergraduate Scholarship Program aims to develop leadership skills and encourage civic engagement. Students benefit from mentoring, career development, internships, and micro-grant opportunities with local civil society, business, and non-governmental organizations and networks. The program covers university tuition and fees, travel, insurance, housing, and a living allowance. If necessary, students may receive one to two semesters of college preparatory English classes before entering their academic degree program.
